hello there am after some help please! this may have been done before but cant seem to find the answer...

i have been on mat leave for 26 wks tomorrow, on full pay (or smp enhanced by my employer). from tomorrow i go on to smp for 13wks and then no pay for 13 wks after that. i usually (when at work and so far on mat) sacrifice £200 a month for my childcare vouchers for DS nursery.

after speaking to 4 people in our pay dept today (yes, 4!)and not getting an answer my question is: does my employer have to pay my ccv for me during the next 13 weeks? and is this without the vouchers being deducted from my smp? or am i being a bit dense? i really dont want to get £400ish for dec salary and then find that half of it has already gone Shock

They have to pay your CCV and your SMP in full.

No, they can't deduct from SMP.

26 weeks at full pay, blimey, that's a generous package. Lucky you!

Sorry to hijack but what about pension contribution? Last mat leave I reduced vol payments and just got employers pension payments, do I have to do this next time?

They have to pay you SMP AND childcare vouchers (can't deduct anything from SMP) Even when you are on no pay (ie, for the last 13 weeks) then they should still be giving you childcare vouchers.
