Idea for hiring out birthing aids/feeding equipment

Don't know where to post this but wanted some thoughts on my newest business idea! It would be a hire service for birthing aids e.g. TENS machines, birthing balls/stools, valley cushions and feeding equipment e.g. breast pumps, nursing chairs, slings, co-sleeping cots. I have looked at hiring cloth nappies but it seems that there are lots of places already doing this. Any thoughts?

The NCT used to hire out valley cushions and breast pumps as did boots (pumps)not sure if they still do, but I would expect there would be some limited competition for that, plus I hired a tens machine, not sure where from, so there is a demand for it. Not sure about the other things.

I would wonder whether the cost of getting enough stock so that you had reasonable availability of items would outweigh the income you would receive. However I am sure you could work this out with sufficient research.

Good luck.
