So I found that all the freelance/ work from home jobs available to me have been pretty rubbish and badly paid so I just wanted to share this with anyone who was in investment banking/M&A/Corporate Finance.

Basically, I'm working flexible hours from home for really good finance boutique for what is pretty decent paid. Oh and they mentioned they're looking for a few extra people :)

So if any of you out there are still keen to do some Info memo drafting/ Financial modelling/Valuation analysis and make a bit of extra money whilst looking after the little one(s) i'd be happy to put you in touch.

Hi Frannie1, flexible work with a financial company. A miracle has happened! I am a Chartered Accountant who has specialised in mortgage securitisation, operational risk management and more recently Principal Investments. I worked for Morgan Stanley (great!) and Deutsche Bank Biscuit! Now do party plan (which funnily enough I love) but don't like working for poor money! Would love to hear more about it.

MarionCole · 17/11/2010 19:46

Hi Frannie. Similar position to me - I'm a Chartered Accountant, spent 10 years in investment banking, now working for a small accountancy practice in Corporate Finance but I am about to leave and start freelancing on info memo drafting, modelling, project management, financial due diligence, basically anything that anyone asks me to do. Would love to hear more about your employer, sounds just the kind of thing I need to get me started.

MarionCole · 21/11/2010 22:03

Have you disappeared Frannie?

Frannie1 · 24/11/2010 17:12

Hello, could you message me too? I am a Chartered Financial Analyst. Was a fund manager not a banker though. Maybe I could still help? Sounds amazing.

Frannie1 · 25/11/2010 17:48

Hi Christina, yes sure. That sounds like it still fits what they're after.

Hi Frannie

I am a chartered accountant already set up as self employed to do this type of work. Where abouts is your employer based and do you think that they might be interested in using a self employed consultant or are they only looking for employees.

OldishMotherHubbard · 28/11/2010 22:53

Hi Frannie,

I too am a chartered accountant - I have not got any direct investment banking experience though - would they still consider me?

Thanks

Frannie1 · 04/12/2010 11:20

Frannie,
I realise it is a while since you first posted this, but would it be possible to send on details, if they might still be looking?
Thank you.

Hey Fannie1,
Like all the people above I was wondering whether you cold post me the details for the work you described. I was a research analyst for several years working for UBS and Citibank.
