ARE YOU A CHILDCARE PROFESSIONAL AGED 30 ? 60 WITH AT LEAST 5 YEARS EXPERIENCE? HAVE YOU GOT THE SKILL AND KNOWLEDGE TO HELP HASSLED PARENTS SORT OUT THEIR CHAOTIC FAMILY LIFE IN A MATTER OF WEEKS? WOULD YOU HAVE THE CONFIDENCE TO DO IT IN FRONT OF THE TV CAMERAS?

Ricochet South is making new series for Channel 4 following families who are desperate to find the perfect childcare solution.

Our childcare expert may have to tame tantrum-prone toddlers, settle sleepless babies, sort out sibling rivalry and show parents how achieve the best possible work-life balance. The series will be an intelligent, informative look at childcare and parenting in the 21st century - and will be shown on prime time TV.

You should have a clear understanding of the latest parenting techniques as well as traditional approaches to childcare. You must have worked for a variety of families, looked after a range of different aged children, and be supremely confident in your abilities.

Anyone interested should contact the team at Ricochet South on 01273-604 792 asking for Childcare Series or email: [email protected]

Not me but I can really recommend someone. We had a maternity nurse for 2 weeks when our little one was a month old. She put her in a routine effortlessly and was completely brilliant with us nervous parents - our DD has been in hospital for a little while too. She was supremely confident and while she was here we suggested that she should make a TV show using her techniques. Her name was Sheila (sorry have forgotten surname) we got her through the Maternity Nurse Company and a woman called Ruth there. Sheila is in her 50s, had no formal qualifications, tall with short black hair and has worked all over the place from Saudi royalty to our little house. Shouldn't be too hard to find. She was great.

Hairpin, I am sure you have already, but can I ask if you paid mumsnet to advertise this piece? There is a media section to post on, in case you missed it, for a reasonable fee.
