Hello
Any advice would be gratefully received!
I have just been offered a big job, but dd1 is 18 mths, I've just had a miscarriage and am vv keen to try again for another baby quickly. Current job is biggish but this would mean a significant step up in pay and experience - ideal next move. So do i take it and run the real risk of (best case?!) telling them I'm pregnant within a couple of months of starting? Last weekend I was determined not to take it, a week at work and my mind changed, this weekend with dd and it's back to don't take it. I'm 37 1/2... no idea how to finalise the decision when i keep changing my mind!! aargh

take it, you never know what will happen.

Same. There are no guarantees that you'll ever get to tell them you are pregnant.

yikes. thank you. too true.

I am worried that I will feel really disingenuous trying to get pg from day 1 or even before. and then having to tell them if all works out...

I'd suggest you hang off TTC till you are in the new job, otherwise there will be no SMP entitlement. That's assuming you've only got a month's notice till you could start.

Never give up a work oppurtunity at work. They don't come round very often,

I'm on 6 months notice and will likely have to work at least 3, so it's hold off ttc for at least 6 months I think. Am not keen.

Take it. I turned down a fab fab fab job in San Fransisco because I was 8 weeks PG. Went on to have an MC.

Regrets? Oh yes, I had a few....

Take it, you never know what will happen with regards to pregnancy.
