Hi was just wondering since the new government have started screwing families over if the help with childcare has changed. I dont work at the moment as no work suitable at the moment but if i were to be able to get a job is it still that you have to work 16+hrs a week to get help with childcare? My dh works fulltime. Thanks x

It depends what kind if help you're talking about?

Childcare vouchers are still available AFAIK as long as your employer offers them no matter how long you work for.

Tax credits depend on your household income. You'd need to go to a website like direct.gov and see if they have a calculator you can use to check what you're entitled to. Assuming you're eligible then, yes, the 16 hour rule still applies. More info here
