Mat leave for school admin staff

I work in a Somerset school and really want to know what the mat leave is but the only person to ask is the head's PA and she would tell everyone I was pregnant (I'm not, just thinking about it).

I have one dd and was on the basic statuatory pay with my last company, but I think schools offer a bit more. Does anyone know?

Ask the union or ask Human resources section.

Are you Admin staff or on the teaching staff?

Do you get teachers type holidays?

HellaVita · 20/10/2010 22:42

I would go directly to the HR in the council dept.

I'm not a teacher - I get teachers holidays (unpaid) and count as support staff.

Ours come under the county council scheme & would be on the intranet
