Do any of you make money from selling cakes?

I am thinking of making and selling cakes, i know that a lot of mums are already doing this but do any of you actually make any money from doing it? I enjoy making cakes and cup cakes but it would be nice to be able to sell them, i'm not looking at making a fortune.

Do any of you sell at fairs or farmer markets? Any tips greatfully recieved .

Look up Kitschnbake on Facebook. That lady started her business 5m ago doing cupcake deliveries and is now opening a shop with another business.

I used to. I made birthday and wedding cakes and did well ( I charged £300 to £500 for a wedding cake) If you are looking to sell cupcakes you will need to make an aweful lot.
