I am apply for this job and I am having a huge mental block about what to put. The application states that I need to show how my knowledge/skills/experience meet the specification, ie. confident manner dealing with calls/clients, ability to prioritise, ability to work as part of a team. I have done all of these but how on earth do I word it.

Any thoughts would be much appreciated, will check back tomorrow. Thank you.

Give us the points in the specifcation and we can help you list examples of where you have done those things before

I.E. good customer service

i worked in a newsagent and served customers their newspapers, if a newspaper went through the wrong front door we would replace the newspaper for the client within an hour of phoning the shop

Prioritising work

When doing the housework I wash the school unifrom as it is needed in the morning and leave the hoovering as it can be done afterwards

that type of thing - you need to show you can do and not just say you can

forgot I started this thread but the deadline is looming.

Can someone please help, I have to tell them how my previous work experience will help me prioritise with phone calls and visitors. I have had many reception jobs but I just don't know how to successfully word it.
