Hi
I was trying to set up a hairdressing service at nursery's but have not had much successs, certainly not enough to earn a part time income from it anyway. Is there anything I could do to make this work?

Perhaps I should try toddler groups and children centres as suggested to me, would any parents out there use this service there?

Lastly, what about at a childminders house, I know alot of childminders as I was one, but would any parents trust having their childs haircut by a mobile hairdresser there?

Any feedback please.

we have a mobile hairdresser. Came highly recommended within sn circles for kids with asd. No way would I have been able to manage taking ds2 and ds3 to anywhere in town.

That was 12 years ago. She still comes every month. £27 to cut mine and 3 teenage boys. bargain!

Don't know about haircuts at the cm sorry. I don't think I'd fancy it. When they are very young I think I'd rather be around.

Good luck with the new business.

Incidentally, I always thought that mobile hair dressers only came to the home not to another company's business premises. How does that work re the insurance?

Thanks for your response.

Getting insurance cover was simple - not to different to going to care centres for pensioner haircuts I suppose.

You have got a great deal there, hang on tight.

Anyone else got any comments?
