My employer is really small and not up to date with the law on Statutory Maternity Leave/Pay. Please can someone confirm if I am right in advising them it goes like this
90% of my average gross weekly earnings for the first 6 weeks
33 weeks at either flat rate of £124.88 or 90% of my average gross weekly earnings, whichever is lower
13 reamining weeks - unpaid
52= total
Also where can I point them to get the official information on this?
(and yes, I've been with my employer long enough to qualify for SMP)
