Can anyone help me create a brand/logo design for my home baking business?

London based so modern, clean, not too pale girly pink (too obvious and done!) and looks good in lo or hi res - so nothing too detailed/obscure.

I want to do some flyers but my old cards look a bit sad now. Old colours were hot pink with white writing, sans serif, rounded lettering.

I would like some kind of symbol to go with the name if poss.

Any advice gratefully received.

I used this piece of software for mine. You can download a free trial, do yourself a logo then only buy the software (think it was about £25) if you want to save the logo and are happy with it.

what's the name of your business?
do you have a website?

titferbrains · 14/10/2010 14:03

Thanks. Have not a creative bean in my body but will have a look and see if I can come up with something.

what is the name?

No site.

Currently called kookiegoddess but am not averse to changing, although have a few branded bits already, like ribbon and aprons.

Try posting on www.ifreelancer.com

!!! Sorry, that should be www.ifreelance.com I used it to get my logo done. You post a job and people bid. There are some great US and UK designers on there and you can see their work. You pay via Paypal generally so its secure.

I really think it's worth spending as much as you can on your logo design. It adds so much credibility to your business.

oh thanks for that, will check it out, looks good.

HI titferbrains

I am a London based graphic designer and I work with a lot of cookery books! So I have first hand design experience with the market area. So if you were interested in my services, I would be interested in your job.

Drop me an email on exactly what is it you are thinking, some other logos you might have seen that you like, things you DO NOT want and your budget for the job.

[email protected]

Look forward to hearing from you!
