I've moved to a mining village that has at least 7 hairdressing salons and I don't know how many freelancers? I'm starting my own business as a mobile hairstylist and colourist so it's a gamble. Luckily dp works full time so we're not reliant on my wage but we do need extra cash..as most of us do.
One thing in my favour is I have a lot of years experience under my belt and those whose hair I style and colour at the moment do come back.

I need to make up some posters to put in local businesses. A very busy butchers put them in their window for free so that's a start. Plus a lady I've got to know said she'll put one in her window free too Smile I'm getting to know the locals and I've already got cards printed as had planned to start the business back in my home town. I just have to tell those I hand cards to that my town has changed.

Wish me luck..think I may need it? Wink

By the way the lady has a shop...she's not just putting it in her house window Grin

I am starting up a new hypnotherapy business at the moment too and someone told me that the best value for money advertising around here is on Facebook or in the Big Issue. I am in the process of looking into to it so can't say if they are right or not yet. Good luck BTW!

Good luck to you too MrsHypDip Smile
