I don't think FE teachers need to be qualified teachers, do they? Why don't you phone/email a college that teaches law related subject and ask?

A friend in the FE sector tells me that things are pretty grim in their college, and they've just made numerous redundancies, and less experienced lecturers aren't getting the teaching support they used to offer them. So this may not be the ideal time to retrain.

Sorry if that's rather negative, but I've heard a lot about it from my friend.

you need to try itour part time or casual to see if it is for you. if you have god experience then its possible they will take you on. teaching in FE is not for the faint hearted, but having said that i found it rewarding despite being in a challenging environment.

My sister currently trains privately and recently considered moving to FE. She took part in a course on one evening per week (she called it 'Petels', but I'm almost certain it's spelled differently). As part of that, she arranged a voluntary placement at a college. Although she really enjoyed her own course, she found the FE environment really challenging and has stuck with her present role. May be well worth trying something similar - if you've not done so already.
