Considering Post Grad Speech and Language Therapy course?

Hi,
I am considering a major career change into Speech and Language Therapy, a fascinating career that can be family friendly. However I am sure the course is full on and I have 2 DC who would be 1yr 9 months and 3.5.
Has anyone done the course with young children? How was it?
