How much should they keep me updated? And what rights do I have regarding appeal dates? So far they have delayed our job descriptions and as far as I knew we were to receive them last week but then didn't.

I phoned the helpline who said later this week. Once I have a newborn (thurs)& recovering from op I can't see me dealing with whether to appeal or not and the appeal date (afaik) is by end of Oct.do I have any right to have this date extended?

Also if they change our pay can they change my pay whilst I'm on mat leave? And how does that fit with returning to job on same terms and conditions?

Ask your Union rep.

They don't get back to me either. Union is in big conflict over the process as far as I know and seem to be losing.

Apparantly I get 2 weeks from the letter to appeal. My letter should arrive later this ewek or start of next. I can have an extension if I phone them when my letter comes. I have pointed out I know now I will need it as I will not be making any decisions within a week or 2 of giving birth so now they are stuck Hmm
