Redundnacy - again!!

Hi, I have posted a few times already and have another question... I have got my letter stating I am being made redundant effectively immediately (plus info on redundancy payment, pay in lieu etc) I have the right to appeal which I am going to do and I was just wondering will I get paid next week as normal or is my employment effectively terminated? I am still on mat leave and was just getting SMP. Thanks

You need to ask your employer. You are still entitled to SMP both for this month and on an ongoing basis until it runs out even though your employment has ended, so you need to ask them how and when you will receive it.

does it run out at the end of the 52 weeks?

No you get SMP for 39 weeks. The rest of maternity leave is unpaid.

So do I need to work out how many weeks mat leave I have taken?

If you want to know when your SMP will run out, yes.
