I did it! I sent them off. Now I feel sick. Will it feel any better?

I've written a few childrens books and have just sent them off to a publisher so they can look at them. I feel sick but am happy at the same time.
I've had good feedback from everyone I've shown them too. It's all so Grin It's going to take ages though isn't it?

Well done brilliant you! So many talk of doing it you have done it.

Have you looked at the Writers and Artists Yearbook or Handbook, can't quite remember, they nornally have a refernce copy on the library. About getting an agent the kids area who can help you get a publishing deal.

Keep us posted and good luck.

Smile Thank you. I've sent three off, they have not read them yet as I did a read reciept. I have had a basic reply though, sounds like a standard one. I'm looking into finding an agent, the feedback I have had has been really positive (well written, appropriate subject matter etc). The books are rather short though so I don't know whether to write some longer ones for a different age group. I have the Writers and Artists Yearbook, it's been really helpful. Smile
