Sandwich/lunch business, Anyone in this trade? From home or a shop?

I have in my head that i would like to have a sandwich shop, but thinking i should do it from home to local businesses etc first to build up some clients before jumping in and getting a shop.

Has anyone got any advice for me? Where to start? What to do next? Does anyone do it? Etc.

Any input would be much appreciated thanks.

I used to work in one of those out of twon business parks and this lady made sarnies at home and sold them; most of them were horrid but she had a captive audience.

I think you could start from home easily enough, speak to your local Business Link for health and hygene advice. And how to market your business eg: postcard drop to HR depts etc.

I think a great product and good branding make all the difference. Have a look a the logo store on 99designs.com and you can get a good logo for about £40.
