Redundancy while pregnant

I have just found out that I am about to be made redundant. I am 33 weeks pregant and due to start mat leave in 4 weeks time. 8 weeks ago an external agency was appointed to do my job at 3x the cost of my annual salary. Does anyone know where I stand regarding redundancy pay/mat pay, etc.

I have been employed by the company for 6 years and work 4 days a week.

Can't say I'm devastated as last few months at work have been a nightmare with constant bullying by my line manager.

Can anyone help? All advice appreciated.

You will need to check what the company maternity policy states. I was in a similar position (but wasn't actually made redundant, was put 'at risk') and as long as I was employed at 25 weeks I was entitled to mat pay aswell as redundancy pay.

Hope it works out well for you :)

Hi

Thanks for that. I have just read our maternity policy and it doesn't state anything about redundancy in it.
