6 years on - does it cancel out how good you were before?

What I mean is, I have not worked for 6 years and am about to get back to it.

Am doing a website and relevant work and client comments are 6 years old or more. I still did a good job then and the comments are valid, but I am feeling like a fraud as it is so long ago.

Is this just because I am lacking in confidence? Tell me they are valid?!

Should I/do I need to mention that I've had time off for children or is that not relevant?

I am a bit lost and confused with this getting back to work thing - help!

List all the things that you have learnt, and the skills you have honed, because you have been a SAHM.

If you have been any good as a SAHM you will have developed hugely as a person in the past 6 years!

I would definitely be open with them about your time out of paid work, a six your old comment if it relates to the last year you worked is fine but if you had been working for the ensuing years I would wonder why you had no evidence from that time.
