Hi I have 2 dc at school full time. Thinking about applying for a job working nights. Would sleep whilst they are at school and after school club. Obvioudly would have to pay for holiday club in the school hols.
Does anyone do this. Does it work?

I work evenings, between 5pm and 11pm, five days a week. I have DS at school and DD who is 1 at home. DH works days and is home at 4pm, and I leave at 4.15pm so we don't really get to spend any quality time together until the weekend. BUT, it works for us, and we have no childcare costs.

Unfortunately I cannot work evenings as dh doesn't get home at a regular time. It will be the same for us. Dh will leave for work at 7.30 am just after I return home.

I thought about this, we would have had to have an au pair or mother's help though for the time slot between me going to work and DH coming home. Would that work for you?

Ive done this for the past 14 years, although did have in laws to look after DS in hols. But yes, works well
