Have decided not to return to work after mat leave. I get on really well with my employer and want to give them as much notice as possible, and not mess them around.
Can I give several months notice, but still get SMP until my original return to work date?
What about my holidays? Work were being really nice and giving me all of my accumulated leave at the end of my mat leave.
I am concerned that to save money on the annual leave they might make me give an earlier than original date so I accumulate less leave IYSWIM. Can they do that?
