so, do I put £0 earnings, or tot up the income support?

You tell them your income last year and then estimate what you're income is likely to be for this tax year. There is a box for estimating, it's called something like if you're income has/will change by over something-thousand a year - I think!

If in doubt, call them, they've always been pretty helpful in my experience!

i think you will need to tell them what you are going to be earning.
