Hi all, hope this is in the right place.
I work on the checkout in a 24hr supermarket and on a Thurs my shift is 1900-2400. This was fine before I bacame pg, but I'm struggling to cope for the 48 hrs following this shift. I informed my manager at 4.5 weeks pg as I was very sick with DS1 and requested at 6.5 weeks to change mu Thurs shift to 1800-2300 which I do on other evenings.
My manager has not got back to me or done any risk assessments - despite me asking. I also am expected by a couple of our team leaders to wrok on self-service and customer services, despite me telling them I can't as I am suffering from frequent dizzy spells related to pg.
Do I have the right to have these changes made?
Sorry is a bit rambling, but am pretty wound up that none of my concerns have been addressed yet.
If you have got this far, Thanks

If its a large 24hr supermarket I suspect the risk assessments have already been done as its unlikely your the first person pg there.

Your employer must take steps to safe guard mother and baby - though I don't believe you have the right to force your employer to change anything if they can prove its safe.

Self service checkouts / Cust Services are usually standing roles so you should reasonable be allowed off these to a sitting job which is no unreasonable to ask for. (Checkout?).
