Looking for admin/data entry work from home - are there any legitimate companies out there

All of the ones that I've been looking at are asking for money upfront, or have no contact details apart from an email address or just look dodgy . Is there such a thing as legitimate admin work from home or am I living in cloud cuckoo land?

Do you actually want admin, or just a home-based job that you can tailor around your family, working as much as you like when you like?
