Typing from home - all scams??

Hi all, I see there's been a few threads on this but nothing recently. I want to do typing from home, copy typing seems the most straightforward but there's so much info out there about scams and I'm nervous of trying to get work and getting conned. Has anyone successfully started copy typing from their own home and if so, any recommendations for how to get started. My Maternity leave ends soon and I don't want to go back to work!!

Unless you are part of an agency, work in a office or are someones personal typist, then yes, you can expect this to be a scam in general.

Sorry to say that, although good typists ARE in demand, its a job many more people are willing to do than there is work for.

Cant offer any personal experience, but logic says you need to be very careful doing this without some sort of contract.
