Interior designer

Have any of you retrained as an interior designer. I would love to do this but have no idea where to start. Is a degree necessary? I am not sure I fancy that level of studying at this time of my life but may wish to do that later.

You can't teach someone to have a good eye for design, taste, fashion and so on.

The same way you can't really teach someone to be a good poet. You can either do it or you can't.
