Suitable for Christmas hugs or not?

I have some toys I've made, and made a Cinderella upside down doll. One way round she's in a patched dress with a sad face then flip her over and she's in a ballgown.
I'm a bit worried that it's tactless.

they look amazing! in my opinion i don't see them as tactless, and i'm pretty sure you can buy dolls that look exactly like that. as long as the gift receivers know the story of cinderella you will be fine :)

That's the issue, I have no idea if children in Belarus will have a clue who Cinderella is.
The Christmas hugs page says they are going to children experiencing extreme poverty, I'm really torn about it.

perhaps you could turn the poverty stricken one's mouth into a smile? then it would be fine
