Sitting here trying to find the words as with true sadness we are starting this thread for our wonderful Trazzles. Her beautiful, smiling, sparkling Joseph devastatingly died from neuroblastoma in July. Many of us followed their ongoing journey, that rocky old road, dedicating our ‘splodges of light’ around the globe as we thought of them, always sending love. Joseph touched the hearts and lives of so many, as did his mum, ours included. We are so sorry. He will live long in our memories, bless him.

We are so glad that Trazzletoes has accepted our offer of a Woolly Hug, it will truly have love in every stitch for her, DH and DD, and as a tribute and celebration of a life filled with love for Joseph.

She said… His favourite colour was pink, followed by blue. He loved swimming, water and the seaside - we spent a lot of time on the beach in Scarborough. We had a lot of nicknames for him, but the most common one was "fish". He enjoyed rock climbing in the Pennines and watched Pokémon endlessly. He was always happy and never stopped smiling, he was full of love.

Thanks

Now parallel to this Knotty and I would very much like to organise a fundraiser in Joseph’s name, and we would like to make a blanket in this colour scheme to auction in the run up to Christmas. We asked Trazz to think of a charity she would like us to support and she has chosen the Candlelighters charity who support families facing children's cancer in Yorkshire. They get involved in all sorts of different projects to help ordinary families who are facing extraordinary circumstances, and they supported Joseph and his family over the years. So pleased we can do this for them too with your love and support. xx

So we are asking for extra squares. Please help with this too if you can, and parcel them separately ‘Candlelighters’

When ready for posting, please PM for info. As always, thank you so much for your support, we will set a last posting date in a day or so.

Thinking of beautiful Joseph Thanks

So pleased to let all know that lovely Trazzles and family have now received their blanket. It truly is beautiful inside and out. So much love in there for them all, we will always remember their beautiful J xx

Lots of photos here and we were so glad to be able to take a photo of the family's blanket with the auction blanket.

The Auction for Candlelighters will take place parallel to our Spring Craft Sale, we hope it raises a lot to help other families like the Trazzles.

Thank you so much everyone, what you do for others is very precious indeed. x

Life is so bloody unfair.

So pleased to be announcing our Auction for Candlighters. Flowers

We will be auctioning this beautiful blanket for the charity in memory of the wonderful Joseph and with so much love for his family.

EVERY penny raised will help Candlighters help more ordinary families going through extraordinary times. There is certainly love in every stitch for them all.

Please read and share as widely as possible, we want to raise a good sum!

The Auction runs parallel to our Spring Craft Sale.

Enormous thanks to everyone for making extra squares for us and to lovely Wendy P for constructing this beauty. xxx
