Baby hats?

My local hospital has asked for knitted baby hats in different colours to indicate the level of support etc different babies need.
Does anyone have a simple pattern? (Struggling to find anything easily online. Not registered with lots of free sites and lots use US terms!)

Thanks. They aren't after preemie hats really. I was after a knitting pattern. Wondered if they should be on circular or dpn for minimal seams!

This is a great newborn hat. I knit it on two needles and sew up the seam with mattress stitch.

Oh that's a lovely idea, I've had two preemies at first the only clothes they were allowed to wear was a hat. It was (quite weirdly) upsetting not being able to buy clothes for them.

Great cause Wolfie Star

Oh unborn how upsetting. Found a really simple pattern. On four needles so no seams and bought uber soft yarn. Bamboo mix!
Emailed person sorting it at hospital. I'm happy to keep knitting. Some people may get very attached to baby's first hat and want to keep it?!
Hope your babies grew big and strong unborn.
