You may have heard the dreadfully sad news that endofthelinefinally’s beautiful son has suddenly died. She describes him as kind, clever, good looking and talented, but troubled. Bless his heart. Life has been very cruel to him and them all. We send endofthelinefinally and her family our love and are so sorry. Thanks

We are so glad that she has accepted our offer of a Woolly Hug, we hope it may give whatever comfort it can. There will be love and memories crafted into every stitch. We hope it will be a real tribute to her wonderful son. Endoftheline’s thread is here if you would like to add a message. Thanks

So we are now asking for help once again Sad Thanks

We need crocheters, knitters and donors (of funds or wool) Thanks If you would like to be involved in any way, please post on this thread and PM us with your offers: crafting, donating, need wool, etc, we can help you with all of it. Thank you doesn’t even come close.

Thanks

Endoftheline says..
My darling boy had a favourite island. His funeral flowers were bright and colourful sunflowers and blue shades to represent the sun and the sea.
They used orchids and palm leaves for a tropical feel. He loved the sun and the sea.
He was known to his friends as "superman" and they made cupcakes and superman badges for the wake.
He was a brilliant IT and finance expert.
I saved the beautiful butterflies from his flowers to put next to his photograph.
Hope this gives you some ideas.
Thank you so much

Very sad news, thinking of endof and her family. Please count me in for a couple of squares. I have wool.

There was a project a few months ago that had sunflowers and you sent me some brown for that. I still have a bit left I think, is it the same one?

KnottyAndPistey · 03/11/2016 09:11

ZingDramaQueenOfSheeba · 03/11/2016 10:49

Mine is DB Cashmerino DK, colour 18050.
I'm pretty surethis it the discontinued range that got replaced by Rialto DK - I've only ever bought wool based yarn for WH, not other projects so I must have bought this when it was still in play.
Can I use it?

ZingDramaQueenOfSheeba · 03/11/2016 11:04

Also I take it from endof's message that cupcakes are meaningful, so would like to include one.
Pistey if you agree, please may I be sent a little bit of the correct brown to use for the cupcake base, but I have a temporary address, so let me know then I'll PM you x

RedRosie · 03/11/2016 11:15

KnottyAndPistey - this is very sad. And My condolences to the family.

Can I help in my usual way - and perhaps with any other projects that need it?

KnottyAndPistey · 03/11/2016 12:55

Rosie Red, you are such a kind soul, bless your heart, thank you xxxxx
