I just wanted to say thank you for the cards that I received today. I was confused at first when the doorbell rang and the postman was stood there with big brown envelope. Dd1 came back from the hairdresser to find me in tears - she's off to uni tomorrow so it's all emotional here at the moment anyway . It was in a good way though, I'm touched to be thought of like this.
You are all stars .

I wasn't part of it and don't know your story, but didn't want your post to go unanswered. I'm glad that you received the cards and it's helped. Best wishes to your DD for uni ...she'll soon be back, bearing piles of washing!

The mini-hugs have arrived, they are amazing and the star is beautiful. I wish I was as talented as you lot. The younger girls have claimed theirs and I will be posting one off to dd1 later.

I'm sorry I was unable to knit any squares for your blanket/mini hugs as I haven't been able to knit this year :( but I think about you often and hope you are all holding up as best you can.
