Thank you for your kind words, ladies.

I'm always in awe of the elaborate grannies and the colour changing squares. Hard enough to deal with one set of pesky ends, never mind lots. That said I'm doing a ripple blanket and so far have eleventy million ends to sew in and I'm only a third of the way through. (I counted them after Wine Grin)

I've got 11 parcels here. I'm just opening them all. Back soon.

I will send my parcel off tomorrow, Knotty. I presume it's the same address as the last lot I sent you? [dim]

We could have done some knitting together STDG :) I probably knitted my squares on the 4mm needles you lent me, which I need to get back to you Blush

Don't drink the rum all at once Knots

MinnieBar · 20/03/2012 17:05

Oh phew, glad they got there safe.

I know none of us wanted to have to make another of these blankets, IYSWIM, and would much rather there wasn't the need, but I will really miss being part of this when it's all over. The sense of community and cooperation is really astounding and it's been a privilege to be a small part of it all.

Hear hear Minnie. It's a lovely spirit that's created isn't it and I will miss it too. The families are often in my thoughts. I do wish there wasn't the need, of course, but if these projects provide the tiniest bit of comfort then we've achieved what we set out to do.

Knotty will need to keep limbering up the old fingers though, bless her.

TimeForCake · 20/03/2012 18:03

Ps Glad my square arrived too!

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 20/03/2012 19:58

Don't worry about the needles, Prettybird - I have plenty of spares. Maybe we could meet up sometime for coffee and knitting, otherwise, just hang onto them. Smile
