Degrading to women, or a bit of fun? I saw this story today

and the comments are quite interesting. A mix of men leering, people saying 'well done girls, raising money for charity in a cheeky way' or 'tasteless and inappropriate, degrading to women'. What do you think? And if you think it is degrading to women, did you think the same of the Women's Institute one where the women were a lot older?

I was thinking about this the other day, and have decided that they're now a cliche, and that you're seen as a prude if you disapprove. I think the original WI one was an interesting idea, maybe a bit subversive, but that now it's just another way for women to be made to disrobe, and as it's for charity you're not allowed to object. I know the women are all volunteers and they're not forced into it, I just feel that as it's for charity they may not feel comfortable voicing objections. They sell these calendars in farm shops etc where you'd never find porn magazines but these are somehow acceptable.

i hate them. and the vry of 'but its for charity' makes it even worse. sooo the only way for women to be 'seen' and 'heard' by men is to take their clothes off. great.

and frankly, i dont get why anyone would volunteer to do it. i mean, i can just about understand why women get PAID to expose themselves (barely) but to volunteer? genuinely perplexing.

I hate them, and thought the WI one was even more revolting
