Yes, if they do similar things to what she did and proof exists of inappropriate and offensive comments they have made.

Knowing TRAs and how abusive they often are to GC women, it’s hardly beyond the realms of possibility.

She has been an inspiration, what a woman. I see she’s upsetting all the right people on here too. The Upton man is causing more chaos elsewhere, she’s shone a fantastic light on so much darkness. Hope
she appeals. Regardless, she’s moved the world on in the right way.

Yes obviously.

I've seen a few snippets of the judgment though that make me think this will go to an appeal.

Which snippets are you thinking of?

Christ yes, there's enough posted in public under anonymous usernames. One has to assume at least some of the "the only good TERF is a dead TERF" "transphobes don't get human rights" crowd are employed somewhere

And if one is employed, something could happen to one in future entirely not ones own fault that genuinely necessitates raising an issue to a tribunal.

Better lock down those socials boys!

Duckyfondant · Yesterday 20:53

Sandie's legal results are so disappointing. I truly believe many potentially excellent nurses will be put off of pursuing the profession because of her treatment at the hands of the NHS.

She was a good nurse. She must have worked her arse off for years. The depth of her character assassination should not have been allowed.

And presumably the many women who are vehemently for trans rights.

We're pretty much all in favour of trans rights on FWR. No discrimination in housing, employment etc

I’m all for the rights that they currently have, yes.

Fair, I do tend to assume most of the vile violent and sexual threats and dehumanisation aimed at gender critical feminists come from men rather than women because the people I have known to do it are all men.

But yes, the same warning applies for Genderist women who post vile violent and sexual threats and dehumanisation on social media too.

My point was that many of the people who make death threats/wishes against TERFs are women, not "boys", and they should be equally worried about their socials.

I can't really comment unless I know what definition of 'women' you are using.

Should probably clarify here, I'm using "men" and "women" in the non-Genderist sense. Aside from Flexi's well made point about vile abusive women, I also realise many of the men I'm thinking of see themselves as women.

Well if you google images for people holding signs at protests that have the most violent slogans, I see people who are clearly female and someone who seems to be completely masculine man with the worst one. I won't post them here.

Female women people.

Indeed.

Except if the person is trans..

Nope.

I'm entirely up for trans people having free speech, and the right to privacy and dignity.

I just don't think they should get those things by trampling over women's boundaries.

But I thought you can’t generally tell?

But I thought no one could tell who was male or female because no one knows anyone’s chromosomes? Are you saying there is a way to discern a male from a female reliably?

I think with most people, you'll suspect.

I dont think you can always tell (ie some people pass) or it is always completely clear where some people started out. You can just see that they've been using some sort of hormone to alter their appearance. You won't know what anatomy they started with.

Why?

Sure? I'm not sure what your point is here. Generally I have found the worst, most graphic, most violent, most sexual imagery is online and comes from male people (and trust me I'm thinking of stuff way worse than I've ever seen carried at a protest - splintery rolling pin anyone?) , but it's nowhere near an exhaustive survey, and more than happy to include any women doing the same in my condemnation

My point is that people feel strongly about this issue on both sides and make quite extreme comments about people who feel diferently to them
