Such as?

Anyone GC. The subject of this thread, for example.

Right but others would argue that GC person holds views that are actively harmful and/or commited X harmful conduct towards someone else, so that's why people say the things they say about them.

It's all subjective.

Edited

Well yes, everything is subjective, isn’t it?

More he’s an odious problematic man who wouldn’t leave a female changing room and has openly admitted he would intentionally ignore the wishes of a female patient. Amongst other things. I think thats why he gets called the things he does.

Well indeed.

I don’t see a lot of that, either. It doesn’t chime with my experience. I see an awful lot of taking the piss, and that’s entirely different though I suspect the average TRA is more bothered by that than people wishing harm.

men are afraid women will laugh at them
women are afraid men will kill them

Do you think you might be a bit blind to it. For instance, I notice you didn't address the person in this very thread who says they are a long term member and called someone with opposing opinions a cunt?

I meant what views that could be considered harmful?

No I don’t. YMMV

You don't believe everything is subjective.

I'm saying that some things are subjective. Such as whether someone is an awful person just for holding a certain view.

AccidentallyWesAnderson · Yesterday 21:59

Any view that the other party disagrees with in the basis that it is somehow exclusionary.

What sort of view? That women and girls sometimes need the privacy and dignity of a female only space, where they can be free of male sexual harassment and statistically much safer from violence, especially sexual violence?

overhare · Yesterday 22:03

Lacksie · Yesterday 21:37

but trans people aren't afforded the same right to assert the same "boundaries" are they?

Edited

If there were transpeople's toilets and changing rooms, I wouldn't be going into them.

Like most women, I've been sexually assaulted. I don't want men I don't know, however they present, in places where I'm getting in and out of my clothes.

Doesn’t sound very awful to me but then YMMV as I said.

Lexibletheflexible · Yesterday 22:04

I'm going to bed now. I keep promising to come back a certain time and then not following through but life calls. So I may be back in time for it make sense to continue here. Or may not.

It's not relevant to my point to give examples.

Riiiiiight.

Ereshkigalangcleg · Yesterday 22:07

And actually what we are discussing is women having the effrontery to ask men to leave a space they shouldn’t be in and know at least some women don’t want them In. No?

Not at all? I was also wondering where the level of anger and hatred came from.

If you think that's anger and hatred then you really don't have much experience with emotions.

Well that's pretty broad.

'I want to serve lemon drizzle cake at the party '

'Well I don't like lemon drizzle cake! You somehow excluded me! Whaaaa!'

When are people going to grow up?

Yes, perfectly sums it up!

Lexibletheflexible · Yesterday 22:10

It’s relevant to mine though.

It isn't. Because what you think about whatever view I present is irrelevant to this point:

"Right but others would argue that GC person holds views that are actively harmful and/or commited X harmful conduct towards someone else, so that's why people say the things they say about them.

It's all subjective.

What you want me to do is present an example where you can then express your GC view. The thing is, I could give a totally.different example about immigration and it still be relevant to my point. A sizeable number of people think that if someone disagrees with them on what they consider a core value or issue, it's fair game to assume they are a terrible person and attack their character irrespective of their stance on the issue itself. This also extends to wishing and threatening harm in some cases.

Don't dish it if you can't take it.

Perhaps you should aim that at Peggie?

AccidentallyWesAnderson · Yesterday 22:11

Why does being exclusionary automatically have to mean bad. It’s on many occasions very necessary.

This is all very fascinating stuff, but what is the actual relevance to Sandie Peggie or your claims that GC feminist women “wish harm” on people?
