The lesbians of Reddit have had enough

My observation is that it's amazing how much power creepy, incel types get when they announce they are women. And they really don't like being told no.

I read a while ago that the only Reddit thread about lesbians where the men who identify as lesbians had not taken over was the porn one (for men who like watching lesbian porn with actual women in it) which I thought was bloody typical.

No idea if that is still true... that one could have fallen to the 'girlcock' too by now.

Gross 🤮 Reddit is such a depressing echo chamber, but it's good that there are corners of it where women can speak up about this. It's good to see recognition that the focus on "inclusivity" has led to the centering of male demands at the expense of women. A story as old as time.

r/transgenderuk are really angry about it. Which is funny until you realise they will surely get the sub shut down.

I'd be curious to see if they cited any examples. I have definitely seen some very cringe and inappropriate posting from transfemmes posting about girldick in places where it really isn't appropriate before, but that's always seemed pretty rare and the lesbian subreddits I read have never had any real issues with tonedeaf transfemme posts

ugh. “Tone deaf” sexual harassment of women

The thread you linked to claims "i’m sick of every post i come across being about sucking dick and ‘girlcock’."

I have reddit and ran a search for "girlcock" on r/actuallesbians and there's two results from 4 and 5 years ago.

Scrolling through the posts on r/actuallesbians I don't see anything about "girlcocks" or trans people.

I suspect someone is having a slow day and is lying to cause trouble.

e.g. some of the replies on this recent post https://www.reddit.com/r/actuallesbians/comments/1xcin82/is_anyone_else_disgusted_by_male_genitalia_esp/

One of these men makes it all about himself:

as a trans woman this honestly really hurt me

Another complains that it's "transphobic" for lesbian women to be disgusted by male genitalia:

this post reads as at least very similar to a lot of not-so-covert transphobic shit

This commenter decides to centre the heterosexual males:

maybe you shouldn't post about it here where you know many trans lesbians are going to read it and have their feelings hurt

Another commenter joins in the scolding:

penises are not “male” genitalia and it’s very transphobic to suggest otherwise

etc.

Well that isn't what the OP is claiming since that linked thread (which is currently awaiting mod approval) specifically asks about male genitalia.

Would I be wrong in suspecting the OP on this thread is the same person who posted the thread on r/unsubbed then waited a few days to post about it on here? "Strategic" to cause trouble both for trans people and for reddit (I know reddit isn't popular on here ever since it banned r/gendercritical for hate).

Yes, I'm sure the idea that lesbian spaces have been infiltrated by male "lesbians" is just a figment of their imaginations. Did you see the comment from the woman about the DMs she gets? I'm sure she's making that up too.

I mean, look at the comments on the trans Reddit thread linked above. They want to get women banned for stating what their sexual orientation is. There used to be a word for that 🤔

It's evidence of r/actuallesbians being infested by men who call themselves lesbians, as the OP of the r/JustUnsubbed post was complaining about.

You know what a strawman is? That's not what is being said at all. They are questioning if the false claims that r/actuallesbians being full of "girlcock" posts is against reddit rules.

The men who post and comment there use a range of euphemisms to talk about their male genitalia, e.g. "natural strap" 🤮

If you read the sub for a while it's kind of obvious.

Mate, there’s a person I quoted who says that there are lots of these posts.

Give over. They are upset that lesbians don't want men in their spaces. Some of the comments talk about lesbian subs being "hostile" and "no go zones for trans girls". Fancy lesbians being hostile to men in a lesbian sub.

I need to drench myself in bleach now but I’ve searched the two obvious terms by “comments” in r/actuallesbians and there are plenty. So MintBird isn’t being entirely truthful here. I remember women saying long ago that all the lesbian and “woman” subreddits had been taken over by men and bisexual women with MTF boyfriends.

An example (from r/actuallesbians) of some whiny male emotional blackmail:

Honestly I don't fucking care about the way someone words it, how PC they try to be, whatever

Stop talking about dick constantly

Imagine if you're chilling in a lesbian space, a place you think of a safe spaxe, and half of ledbian reddit constantly shits out never ending posts about your dick and how you're not attractive and how being disgusted by dick is fine and actually genital preferences are perfectly okay and valid and blah blah

How would you feel if youre reminded that people don't want you every time you go online?

.

Cis people i beg you, please just keep it to yourselr, nobody gives a damn about your genital preference, it's the kind of thing that nobody asked to know, and is actively hurting trans women, why is it okay for you to make us sad and feel unwanted?

Just. Shut. Up.

EDIT

Oh BTW time to pour more fuel on the fire... Fuck your trauma! Yes, are you traumatised by cock? OK, cool, I didn't ask.

Trauma isn't an excuse for making people feel like shit, I LOVE being compared to m*n and equated with creeps because of my body that I didn't ask for ❤️

Does dick give you a flashback? OK! I hope you get better, stop using it as an excuse to make us, ME, feel excluded

I see that as yet another case of men not accepting that women are allowed to have preferences. How dare a lesbian like vaginas and refuse dicks?
(I would be very pissed off if I went on a date with a man and he had a vagina).
I always get men on dating apps complaining that I don't date smokers. As if I couldn't choose.
Men trying to convert lesbians is a tale old as time.
