I think Olivia is not discussing in good faith.

I took as he was indirectly referring to taking your child abroad from the UK to have their penis removed.
Edited to add. Currently if you " mean well" and think you are helping child it wouldn't fall under child cruelty legislation anyway as there is seemingly no intent there to harm.

Llamasarellovely · Today 14:05

Chap behind DK is annoying me.

ArabellaScott · Today 14:06

DK - there is a problem with word 'abusive' in this context. This word is used differently . If you don't use pronouns, some say this is abusive. Others say not.

ArabellaScott · Today 14:07

DK - because 'abusive' isnt' settled in criminal law, I don't know how judges/jury can deal with it. Can't leave poltiical opinion at door. So incoherent, so poorly drafted, cannot be rescued. One useful alternative is to look at tweaking other acts, and/or approaching same ways as racial aggravation.

ArabellaScott · Today 14:08

HJ - Bill unusual in not having a list of defences.

KittyWilkinson · Today 14:09

What a contrast to the Stonewall crew. Totally able to answer clearly and directly.

ArabellaScott · Today 14:09

HJ Schools and workplaces mean people have to acknowledge sex.

ArabellaScott · Today 14:10

HJ - it is other people's right to say what they see, or to refer to biological sex. This law comes up against freedom of belief, other human rights.

Rightsraptor · Today 14:11

Who is the bloke behind Dennis who keeps smirking & shaking his head?

ArabellaScott · Today 14:11

DK - Article 8, 9, and 10 at risk. 14, bill discriminates against gc people.

LadyinPainting · Today 14:11

Who is the man behind DK who keeps shaking his head and rolling his eyes?

KittyWilkinson · Today 14:11

DK showing how incompatible bill is in comparison with human rights articles.

ArabellaScott · Today 14:11

DK - bill ripe for a certificate of incompatibility.

Joanna Cherry at the back behind the guy shaking his head, Fiona MacEnana and Maya Formatter also in the audience.

KittyWilkinson · Today 14:13

I could cry with relief at how shit hot they are.

'identity formation is not a one off event' - LGB man, can't recall his name

KittyWilkinson · Today 14:14

How is a patent supposed to know where an identity stops and starts? DK

ArabellaScott · Today 14:14

DK asks why sex orientation definition is clear and stable from the EA, but gender identity is not.

ArabellaScott · Today 14:15

Shaking head man looks like a bit of a tit.

ArabellaScott · Today 14:16

HJ talks about the difference between EA and criminal law.
