This case seems to have slipped under the radar somewhat, as it isn't a GC beliefs case, but there are parallels. There will be 13 witnesses from the Tavistock. It may well expose the way 'critical theory' in general has captured the NHS and how those who refuse to bow down are bullied, ostracised, and forced out of their jobs.
The claimant states:
"From the disclosure, we found that senior staff at the Tavistock were calling me names in their correspondence with each other. This included calling me a “fascist” and a “racist.” They also referred to me as a “poisonous creature” and a “snake.”
Alongside this, Senior staff openly stated that my beliefs were not likely to be compatible with ethical practice. It was shocking to see, laid bare, the way in which a whole group of NHS professionals could abuse their positions of power to openly bully a trainee. I believe they thought it unlikely that I would be able to defend myself."
"My trial is listed at the Royal Courts of Justice from 2–27 November, with almost the entire month set aside for the Court to hear the evidence and determine my claims.
The Tavistock NHS are calling 13 witnesses. I will be the only witness on my side. I will likely be cross-examined for 3 days.
For those who have followed my case from the beginning, you will know what is at stake for me. My case concerns my allegations that I suffered anti-white racial harassment and discrimination. I am further claiming that I was discriminated against for expressing a colour-blind approach to race. This was expressed in opposition to Critical Race Theory. This is the first lawsuit to bring these claims against the NHS to trial in this way.
I have pursued this case because I believe that equality must mean equality for everyone.
Getting to this point has taken years of determination. Litigation of this scale is demanding and extremely expensive, and the forthcoming trial will involve a substantial amount of preparation and legal work. I have already written and submitted a very lengthy witness statement which took many weeks to write."
I don't know if there will be remote access or if anyone will be covering it on X. I'll add to the thread if I find out.
