Beyond Gender repsychopathologisation series. https://podcasts.apple.com/au/podcast/beyond-gender/id1795722610?i=1000792966535

Absolutely brilliant and fascinating so far. Looks at the history of gender affirming medicine, compassionate and sharp.

I read Trans by Helen Joyce at the end of June and, since then, have been trying to get my head around the Trans subject -- all the different implications and contexts and country by country differences.

The Repath series is brilliant for that. Every Tuesday night at 7pm live.

It is a big help when having conversations with others to be able to put all of this in a historical context and also to be able to see a clear route out of the madness.

Half way through Irreversible Damage by Abigail Shrier which is also helping to get my thinking clear on this.

I really appreciate the Repath Series and also Abigail Shrier because there is a matter-of-factness combined with sympathy for the human condition and they all have a good sense of humour too. There is no way through this without having a chuckle at the bonkersness of it all.
