I’ve had a quick look through some of the resources and was heartened to see challenges to gender stereotypes that seemed age appropriate (7-11). Interested to see what others think.

Full disclosure: I used to work at TCS and was a little worried for them a while back but they had some brilliant women in some management roles that I hoped would steady the ship eventually.

It has pros & cons depending on the delivery particularly to small children as it has its complexities.

Sex stereotypes (social expectations that are socially imposed) = bad are often confused with sex typical behaviours (biologically & environmentally influenced) = neutral.

Many people who don't understand the difference assume anyone who expresses sex typical behaviours has been socially 'indoctrinated' into stereotypical behaviour to do so when it could well have been an innate inclination.

An example would be hating on women for embracing sexual typical behaviours that also happen to appeal to the male gaze. That these sorts of behaviours maybe also associated with hormones, genes & evolutionary mating strategies rather than social expectations is lost on many particularly in the gender critical world.

i think any challenge to gender stereotypes is great. Society was doing such a good job in dismantling them. With the “let toys be toys” and “let clothes be clothes” campaigns. We have seen a lot of regression lately from those who are determined to use what children are interested in to claim that “proves” they are a certain “gender”
Susie Green for example claimed her son ”was really a girl” because he played with dolls. The poor kid was whisked off to Thailand for SRS on his sixteenth birthday. Maybe we should accept “gender” is a load of outdated sexist bollocks abd should be consigned to history along with racism and homophobia.

Well it seems to be a free resource that can be accessed by schools, which could balance out the indoctrination resources schools seem to be accessing currently, so that could be a good thing.
This may be a concern - a US-based non- profit organisation, their website does scream MAGA, it being USA,

"Equimundo: Center for Masculinities and Social Justice works to promote gender equality and create a world free from violence by engaging men and boys in partnership with women, girls, and individuals of all gender identities. Our work emerges from more than two decades of local and international research, which informs our program development and advocacy.but those who don't want fair and balanced education in school might scream"

but those who don't want a fair and balanced education in schools might shout MAGA at it.

In the end it's down to the school to use the resource, what are the chances of that currently?

Equimundo is one of the organizations that has joined the new government taskforce on misogyny (thread here), despite including some men in their definition of "women":

What Equimundo believes:

We view patriarchy as creating and sustaining power inequalities by men collectively over women (including cis and trans women), as well as gender-nonconforming individuals, and by some groups of men over other marginalized men, and as a social force that keeps all individuals from having the connected, fulfilled, and peaceful lives they deserve.

Oh Democrat not MAGA then, shame, they do have Social Justice in the title, so I shouldn't be surprised. Mae Culpa. 😒
