Ladies.....It's finally happening. Mermaids is absolutely crumbling. My daughter H has finally seen what a problematic charity it is and is no longer wanting to volunteer!
She still wants to identify as non binary which I am still getting my head around but at least she isn't getting her "support" from Mermaids anymore.
Shes told me loads about what's been going on there since the new Chief Executive has been in post. Apparently she is awful! Staff have mysteriously disappeared with no explanation and those that are still there are utterly miserable! The so called "helpline" is constantly closed because of staff shortages and volunteers are completely in the dark about everything. H says she has asked for updates about staffing and responses to media and has just been totally ignored. Ive told her to go to the Charities Commission and tell them what is going on but despite seeing all the flaws she won't but I might!!!! 😈
I really think they might be heading for closure 🤞🤞🤞🤞
Has anyone heard anything else?
