These cases need to be taken extremely seriously. As I said, I was already convicted once in May 2026 over comments concerning women’s rights in relation to transgender ideology. But for some of the offences we are now accused of, we face penalties of up to: ⚠️ 1 YEAR IN PRISON ⚠️ €45,000 FINE These trials go far beyond Marguerite and me. Through the legal precedents they may create, they will help determine how far people in France will be able to publicly criticise transgender ideology in the future without risking criminal conviction. Can someone tell me, if I was to go over to France and make the same comments very publicly while I was there, would I be arrested and put on trial?

Because it strikes me that would get massive publicity, an English woman saying something that is a) true and b) legal in England

I'd be quite prepared to do this. I have no job to risk or any dependants, and I'd risk a year in prison, but I can't risk huge legal fees. Is there a way forward here?

I don't honestly know. I have a feeling the French authorities might be a little more cautious of arresting someone with a UK passport.

I would say that French TRAs have been violent and aggressive in the past. There have been some very alarming protests against feminists. So please do take care if you're considering this.

I also think if you were to incur legal fees, JK's fund would probably be open to you.
