Those laws apply to the belief in gender ideology as well: nobody can be discriminated against for believing in it. That doesn't mean that gender ideology is any truer than religious belief; they fall into the same category of "something some people believe, which has no basis in reality, and which other people cannot be compelled to believe".

Strawman is a logical fallacy where someone misrepresents, exaggerates, or oversimplifies an opponent's actual argument. They then attack this fake, weaker version instead of the real point, making it look like they successfully won the debate.

What is a gender if 'boy' and 'girl' aren't? What is it that a 'trans child' changes that makes them 'trans'?

Shouting strawman at every point is the defence of a strawman, but it in no way makes you look like you've successfully won the debate.
