Bash Back (again). How are they not proscribed as terrorists?

BettyBooper · 06/08/2026 19:09

Bash Back just posted this picture and comment to Dr Mary-Ann Stephenson in response to her comment about EHRC.

She talked about everyone's rights being respected and the law.

BB said:

'Hey Mary, quick question: What happened to your London office?'

They are terrorists.

And just to add, this is after major spotlight on them after AW's murder. They don't care. They are emboldened. Wtf is going on?

Knobhead is knobhead on the internet.

Very good question. Perhaps some of them know where the bodies are buried, and the Government doesn't want that information out in the public domain? Perhaps they are afraid of Bash Back? Perhaps they just won't care until it happens to them? (Wes Streeting who?)

Maybe it's not easy to proscribe a group?

I am as perplexed about it as you are.

Eh? This is a group that has attacked Wes Streeting's office and who last week were recommended to be proscribed as terrorists by ex political violence tzar, Lord Walney.

They're not just some 'knobhead on the internet'.

They're certainly trying to be terrorists but they're more like wet farts in a Jacuzzi.
Whereas we don't have the space in the prisons for all the maladjusted losers we currently have, I would prefer that the authorities take some steps to identify and charge these hooligans instead of giving the impression they're absolutely powerless to enforce the law.
The country is full of bad actors and they will all be emboldened to stick two fingers up at the law if the police give the impression they're rubbish at their job.

Well exactly.

If they are allowed to get away with what they're doing, they're doing, they're hardly likely to stop, are they?

Stephenson as a key civil servant (or whatever she is categorised as) should personally report this to the police.

BB is a group who threatens political violence and carries out political violence .

They are posting this a couple of weeks after a female MP was murdered in her own home in a hammer attack. By the way, the promotional poster for this group is a man in a balaclava wielding a hammer.

A group openly threatening a woman who is just doing her job should be a concern to everyone.

This is not a society I want to live in. You say 'I'm scared' in a mocking way. Why do you think this is ok?

This is how trans ideology is enforced. Initially compelled speech, coercive control, intimidation, threats and bullying. Escalating to public threats against those who dare to challenge, targeting their workplaces and communities. Ending up with physical violence - both threatened and actual.
It's been evident from the outset but because they're pandered to and so rarely challenged - even by the police in the face of escalating behaviour - this is what we end up with.

Totally predictable.

Agree. It should be treated very seriously.

DrBlackbird · 06/08/2026 22:49

The SM hack is worrying as anyone who has donated to them has apparently had their emails, names and postal addresses hacked.

As an aside, are charities allowed to just ’take and hold’ such data if not explicitly provided to the charity but was supplied because it was required for a cc donation?

Ereshkigalangcleg · 06/08/2026 23:01

It’s lots of different charities through a processing company I thought. Not just SM. Which maybe makes it less likely to be targeted at GC people.

Boiledbeetle · 06/08/2026 23:09

Do you think they realise that they are doing their cause more harm than help? I know I'm biased, but even so they come across as dangerous bullies with the potential to ramp up their terrorising activities if they get angry enough.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 06/08/2026 23:13

I don’t think most TRAs have the impulse control to think about what will benefit “the cause”.

They aren't targeting you. If they were, perhaps you'd be a little less childishly insouciant about it

Couldn't agree more, MrsO. This is not a joke, however Four Lions they may seem, and they need to be dealt with. The bigger picture, as you say, is not pretty.

hholiday · Yesterday 05:29

They absolutely should be.

And, furthermore, I think someone needs to have a word with MPs like Samantha Niblett about her use of words like 'hatred' to describe women who object to the presence of men in their facilities.

Because it's a very small step from there to justifying violence against those women, isn't it?

moto748e · Yesterday 09:50

Samantha Niblett is a bloody idiot. The calibre of people getting into the HoC continues to fall.

Given how obvious and findable they are - there is no way the authorities are just ignoring them. They know who they are and they are watching them for when they significantly overstep and / or bring others into the fold.

I'd prefer it if they nipped them in the bud now, justice must be seen to be done or people loose faith in justice. There are too many eyes on these ASBO genderists now for them to let it continue unchallenged.

You would hope they were being watched, under the Left-Wing, Anarchist and Single-Issue Terrorism (LASIT) category.

You would hope...

On the surface, it looks as if Stephenson's office has 'just' been hit with paint. So that makes it easy to minimise. (see this thread already for that nonsense)
But that's part of the tactic.
They are literally called 'Bash back'. They have a hammer in their logo. The website and stated aims are about 'making them afraid.'
It's all about intimidation but then throwing hands up all innocent when attention turns to them, because they supposedly haven't done anything that serious.
It's like a domestic abuser punching a hole in the wall next to his wife's head. He didn't actually hit her. So what's she complaining about?
The intimidation tactics on their own are enough, but violent men escalate. They start with what they can get away with, minimising their own behaviour to escape the consequences, and when they do, they increase the stakes.
Yes, they're bozos and ludicrous, but their behaviour is already abusive and intimidating and I can't see them leaving it at this level if they keep getting away with it. I can only hope that the police are paying attention.
