Court, letters, costs, captured area...

I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on how useful a pre legal action letter is in stopping harm to women, and does anyone know how many roughly cases still will go to court and the cost of the claimant for a case going to court?

Sorry if these are basic questions - mega stressed, captured adult safeguarding team have been useless.

I'm trying to safeguard myself and others and right now just feels like every door gets slammed in my face as it's a non-binary person and very much feeling like there's an inner sanctum of untouchability whilst very vulnerable women continue to get harmed. My own career has been damaged significantly as has my personal life, but I'm hoping a letter can stop the harm to the women and also give me some recourse to figure things out career wise going forwards. Was thinking of retraining anyway but at the moment that's not even possible.

I'll contact that organisation tomorrow and see if they can advise.

Sex Matters and the Free Speech Union both have a very good track record of supporting women and challenging all sorts of workplace issues?
It so depends on what the issue is but maybe take a look at their websites and the range of issues they tackle which might give you an idea of whether they can help?

I watched one of their YouTube videos recently (titled What’s in our inbox? Meet the Sex Matters Helpdesk) where their Head of Admin talked about her typical day, and all the types of enquiries they get and respond to.

Even if they’re not able to provide direct assistance, I’m sure they could offer some useful advice, and signpost you to other legal resources and help.
