It sounds like the patient had been admitted before and possibly had been violent to staff.

What happened to Jennifer is devastating and would be unbelievable were it not for the fact that so many women have been treated like her in the 10 years I've been watching this lunacy. She is brave, she is amazing, she is a mother. She is all the things these scummy men are so jealous of.
I don't really have words for the NHS managers and the NMC who have made her life a misery, and have deeply affected her children. Shame on them. It is so destabilising to lose trust in institutions, as I also have.

There comes a point where saying you can't believe what you're reading doesn't come close to covering it.

Jennifer has shown herself to be a highly principled woman, at great cost to herself and her family. Nothing short of a very public apology will do, from the Trust and the NMC.

Maybe they should also be interviewed?

And asked to account for their actions?
