Trans “genocide” leading to them seeking asylum. WTAF?

Seen on a local FB group today. JKR had tweeted about Stella Creasy, our local MP. SC posted her response on a community FB group (she’s captured). Most responses from TRA’s but a few who put their head above the parapet re the erosion of women’s rights.
Anyway one post states that there is a “genocide of trans people” in this country and her trans friends are looking to seek asylum.

Im gobsmacked. Truly. I just don’t even know where to start with a post like that.

We live in a very LGBTQ friendly area. I’m very happy with that. I see MTF trans people daily. What I’m most definitely not seeing is any sign of a “genocide”. Nor have I heard of anyone local (or elsewhere) fleeing the UK to seek asylum…where exactly?

Madness.

I stumbled across the profile of an American TW who is now living in Ireland and it read as if they were claiming asylum, presumably due to their trans status.

I think around 70 Americans have sought asylum in the Netherlands claiming refugee status because of 'genocide'. The Dutch government rejected some of the asylum claims on the grounds that the USA is not a dangerous country and is being challenged legally.

And when the depression of the disconnect of wrong sex religion catches up with them, well, Netherlands is a world leader in euthanasia.
I'm serious, I could see a whole new conveyor belt of angry unhappy young trans even in a trans friendly country like NL remaining unhappy and unfulfilled, looking for a really big "solution".

Canada and the Netherlands seem to be countries that went so socially and politically liberal that they lost all common sense.

Mr Menno often describes how difficult Dutch law makes it for women and gay people to object to Genderism.

That first report features Jane-Michelle Arc. There's a recent thread about Arc who was complaining that he feels unsafe in the Dutch asylum camp due to the transphopbia from other asylum seekers so was preparing to go back to the US

Honestly, it just reads as another thing activists are appropriating.

And it's genuinely insulting that they think that having human rights in law (which they do, the same as everyone else in England, Scotland, and Wales, slightly different NI) is not enough and they also have to have their "wants" met as well (even if that means that some other people's rights are taken away), makes them anything like in the same category as those who are actually needing asylum across the world.

Childish, petty, selfish, ME behavior. I pity those countries that decide to take them on. If there are any.

Well that study from Oxford University showed that transwomen are more likely to commit murder than to be murdered in the UK, so as the authors pointed out, if transwomen are being genocided then they are also committing a genocide.

(To be fair they may have worded it better than I just managed to).

Is this about the parrot? If it is and you want some background, Stella C made a bit of a fool of herself on X when she posted a pic of a green parakeet in a tree and asked if anyone had lost a parrot. Obviously there are a lot of wild parakeets in the area so lots of people mocked her for the post. Instead of just owning up and having a bit of a laugh about it I gather she took the huff, which led to a bit more mocking. I gather JKR also responded with a comment about not knowing what a parrot was nor a woman. It may not be this but if it was this is why JKR is involved.

The thing is, I can believe they have experienced abuse in the streets etc. It happens and it can make people scared to leave the house.
But they don’t have a realistic idea of what the rest of the world is like if they think every other country is a paradise where everyone is respectful.

Or a realistic idea of what constitutes an environment or regime from which they need "asylum".

It is, isn't it? Little has changed in terms of the vitriol that a certain segment of trans identified men show towards women.

I actually first came across the letter in The Transsexual Empire by the radical feminist professor Janice Raymond, she featured it in one of her later chapters.

There was a black American man who tried to claim asylum in the UK. It was turned down but the last I read he was stuck here for some reason, even though he wants to return to the US now.
