Way to go Welsh Woman, it's good to know the new regime has let us back in the room, erasing the voice of women in Wales was anti-democratic. 😤

Thanks for this, OP. We'll see in time if this makes any difference. If WAG can find a way around the law, they will. It will depend on what Andy Burnham does. Those in charge here in Wales will simply do the opposite so they can be Not Westminster. So I shall reserve judgement for now.

Wow well done you women of Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

I wish them luck but the new Plaid Cymru government is very much TWAW as in their manifesto.

Chersfrozenface · Today 09:12

The only way I can see this making any difference is if Plaid Cymru want to differentiate themselves from Welsh Labour's gender batshittery.

In reality I suspect Plaid will say "Unlike Welsh Labour we talked to some women about this" and then either "but we found they were just bigots and we'll carry on as before", or more likely "of course we must listen to women but those poor transgender folx and we'll carry in as before".

Previous Labour Ministers would not meet them.

I think this says it all really. And they say this is a democratic country. Only for me, not for thee.

I do hope this is a sign of the Senedd looking to do something different but I won't hold my breath.
